Road Trip Video: Costa Rica

Trip data

  • Days: 7
  • Flights: 4
  • Miles traveled: 5,390

Recap

  • Work: Document review/drafting, e-mail and software interface design while bouncing along the Costa Rican countryside in a bus. Someone needs to invent a gyroscopic lap desk for those of using a laptop in these conditions. I don’t know how much money it would make, but I would buy one.
  • Work-out: Ran several miles to a hill in the forest, where I ran repeats with push-ups and box jumps at the end of each repeat.

This is my final post from Costa Rica, as my destination today is Orlando. My Costa Rican experience has been quite an adventure, and I was able to take care of a ton of business while exploring the cities, forests and beaches. This is a glimpse into one of my days here:

If you enjoy outdoor adventures and wildlife, Costa Rica is a must-see!

THAT’S ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS!!

Oh, and that’s a pretty kickass video too. :D That zipline didn’t actually seem very fast after watching that monkey get so much air.

Kyle – Can’t believe I have missed out on this trip until now. Great vid & loved the music (who is it – embarrassed to admit I don’t know). I visited Costa Rica about 5 years ago – thanks for bringing back the memories. One of my best trips ever.

I loved Costa Rica, too, Leisa. Such an amazing nature experience! I’m glad you liked the video, too. The song is Run On by Moby. Great tune, huh?

Awesome blending of all of this beauty and movement with “work” — I love the shift in the paradigm! More… more…!
